Dakota Spark: Dance Camp Registration Open

– Registration is still open for the third class series in Dakota Spark’s creative arts program for this summer, Dance Camp. This session has sections for four age groups: Pre-K and K, grades 1-3, grades 4-6, and grades 7-12. Classes are open to students from any school district, and registration for this session is due by June 10.

Dance Camp will give students a taste of a variety of dance styles, tailored to the experience, abilities, and interests of each class. This session begins June 17 and will be held three times per week for two weeks, with each age group meeting at the DPRCA Dance Studio for one hour. Dakota Spark’s dance instructor, Ines Dunn, bring with her decades of dance experience in a wide range of styles from studios and stages around the world.

Dakota Spark is the new summer creative arts program offered by the Dakota Prairie Regional Center for the Arts in New Rockford. This summer, four class series will be offered for students grades Pre-K through 12, providing experiences in visual arts, theatre, music, dance, language and writing, and more. The next class is the younger section of Opera House Youth Actors theatre camp starting on July 10, and the Studio Arts Class series starts July 29.
