The Vine Intervention to Host Wine-and-Cheese Tasting
April 22, 2013 – The Vine Intervention Wine Club will host another special wine tasting on Friday, May 10, this time highlighting the age-old combination of fine wines and cheeses.
The tasting list is set as: the sweet bubbly Zibibbo Sparkling Moscato (Australia) matched with parmesan and brie cheeses; the full-bodied golden Main Street Chardonnay (California) matched with stronger gruyère and provolone cheeses; and the dark, intense Stark Raving Cabernet Sauvignon (France) with extra sharp cheddar and asiago cheeses.
The tasting is open to anyone age 21 and up, and entry is $15. The tasting starts at 7:30 p.m. at Jack’s Tavern in the Opera House. After the three pairings, the entry fee includes a full glass of any wine on the menu, as well as appetizers.
The Vine Intervention holds tastings approximately every other month, sampling three wines from vineyards around the world. For more information, call Jessica at (701) 947-2205 or search the group “The Vine Intervention Wine Club” on Facebook.
