NRABC Releases Livability Survey
March 6, 2018 - The New Rockford Area Betterment Corporation has released the Governor’s Main Street Initiative livability survey. Area residents are being asked to take the survey to provide valuable feedback for the city of New Rockford and the state of North Dakota.
The survey’s goal is to help develop strategies to create more vibrant and healthy communities across North Dakota. It will assess the strengths, weaknesses and needs in our community and will provide insight on how we can build smart infrastructure and grow amenities to attract a 21st century workforce.
This survey is an early step in the NRABC’s strategic planning process to help set goals and priorities for economic development and betterment for the city of New Rockford. The NRABC plans to reach out to the citizens and businesses and host future community meetings to learn the current needs and issues of the community.
This survey can be accessed on the New Rockford Area Betterment Corporation’s Facebook page, city website, http://www.cityofnewrockford.com or paper copies can be picked up at the NRABC office located in city hall. Completing the survey will only take about 10 minutes. Anyone who is familiar with the city can provide valuable feedback.
The Main Street Initiative is focused on three pillars of economic success: a skilled workforce; smart, efficient infrastructure; and healthy, vibrant communities to help North Dakota compete in an increasingly global economy.
