Tickets Available Now for “The Andrews Brothers” at DPRCA
Jun 8, 2015 - In honor of the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, the Dakota Prairie Regional Center for the Arts in New Rockford proudly presents The Andrews Brothers.
Opening Wednesday, July 1st and running through Sunday, August 9th, this musical comedy follows the antics of three hapless stage hands who, to prevent the cancellation of a USO show, must don the mantle of the Andrews Sisters. "It's Some Like It Hot meets The Three Stooges, all set to the swingin' hot music of the 1940s," says director Elliott Schwab.
In addition to Schwab, the show features the all-star cast of Jared Kolles, Alex Hovey, and Jacee Engels with live music by Annette Hovey, Delaine Rademacher, Tessa Hartl, Tony Peterson, and Steve & Cathy Bowman.
To salute those who have served, a Wall of Honor will be assembled at the historic Old Church Theatre. Readers are encouraged to bring, or send, any photos of veterans in their service days to the Latte Lobby in New Rockford (copies only - please no originals). Please include with the picture, the soldier's name, rank, and division.
