The Vine Intervention to Host Wine-and-Chocolate Tasting
February 4th, 2013 – The Vine Intervention Wine Club will host a special wine-and-chocolate tasting on Friday, Feb 22, highlighting the challenges and secrets of pairing wines with chocolate.
The tasting list is set as: the sweet and floral Be Radiant Riesling (Napa, CA) with white chocolate; Porto Cruz Tawny Port (Portugal), a thick, sweet dessert wine, with milk chocolate; and the dark and spicy Inkberry Shiraz-Cabernet (Australia) with dark chocolate.
The tasting is open to anyone age 21 and up, and entry is $15. The tasting starts at 7:30 p.m. at Jack’s Tavern in the Opera House. After the three pairings, the entry fee includes a full glass of any wine on the menu, as well as light hors d’oeuvres.
The Vine Intervention holds tastings approximately every other month, sampling three wines from vineyards around the world. For more information, call Jessica at (701) 947-2205 or search the group “The Vine Intervention Wine Club” on Facebook.
