Resources Available for New and Existing Businesses
November 11, 2013 – New and existing businesses are encouraged to contact the New Rockford Area Betterment Corporation (NRABC) to learn about resources available to them at all stages of their business.
The NRABC, a local non-profit organization created to generate economic and community development, provides many services and consultations to businesses. These services include assistance with marketing, building an online presence (including a free web page on the City of New Rockford website), consultation on financing and funding sources, and professional services such as grant writing, web design, and language translation, available at half of the standard market rate.
The NRABC also provides specific perks to new businesses, including marketing to introduce the business to the community, networking with other businesses, and connecting with the New Rockford Area Chamber of Commerce, which offers a free year of membership to new businesses.
Business owners, as well as individuals considering starting a new business, are encouraged to contact the NRABC to learn more about these resources by stopping at their offices at City Hall, emailing the NRABC’s Executive Director Sarah Smith Warren at smithwarren.nr@gmail.com, or calling (701) 947-2205.
