Eddy County Museum Hosting Annual Rhubarb Fest
June 16th, 2014 - The Eddy County Museum and Historical Society will host their annual Rhubarb Festival on Sunday, June 29, from 1-4 p.m. at the Museum. Historical Society and community members will bring foods, drinks, and desserts made of the traditional garden staple as a celebration of its diversity, and the ingenuity of chefs and bakers in our region. Free guided Museum tours and activities for kids will also be offered during the festival.
The $5 admission to the festival is an all-you-can-eat ticket, with all proceeds going to the Museum’s roof repair fund. The Museum is open free of charge to the public on Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Please contact Jessica Dillon at 947-2205 with any questions, or to sign up to bring a dish to the festival.
