New Rockford City-Wide Garage Sale Announced
June 30th, 2014 - The New Rockford Area Chamber of Commerce has set a date and opened registration for this summer’s city-wide rummage sale. The sale will be held on Saturday, August 2nd, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Chamber will place an ad in the Transcript the week of the sale, listing addresses of all participating garage sales. Maps of all registered sales will be distributed free to shoppers, and participants will be provided with yard signs to mark their sales. Registered sales will also have a 20-word classified ad with their map listing to showcase the types of items they will have for sale. The registration fee to appear on both the newspaper ad and maps is $5.
