Dakota Prairie Regional Center for the Arts DPRCA is our flagship arts and culture center, with year-round theatre and musical performances at their two facilities (the Opera House and the Old Church Theatre), youth theatre classes, a coffeeshop, bistro, wine bar, and artist co-op gallery and gift shop. The Rockford Theatre Our movie theatre is a part of downtown history, and recently completed an upgrade to digital projection and sound - first-run movies every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday night. The Vine Intervention Wine Club Hosted at Jack's Tavern Wine Bar at the historic Opera House, this groups provides monthly wine tastings in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The Eddy County Museum A museum of us, by us, and for us, this three-building complex houses documents, photos and artifacts of our county's fascinating history. Open Sunday afternoons all summer long. Library Book Club Meet once monthly to discuss a book with other readers, with fun extras like chats with authors and book tours. Steam Threshers Reunion See history come alive every September at the Central North Dakota's Steam Threshers Reunion at the Eddy County Fairgrounds - antique farm equipment, a re-created Pioneer Village, demonstrations of blacksmithing, logging, spinning, loom weaving, and ropemaking, live music, dancing, great food, crafts, flea market and antiques. |
