Community Ambulance Service New Rockford is a volunteer squad that has served Eddy County and a portion of Wells County since 1971. CASNR was named EMS Squad of the Year in 1994 and 2006 and is one of the largest volunteer squads in the state.

CASNR has three fully-equipped ambulances, a disaster trailer, and a state-of-the-art building and garage, built in 2012. We currently have 40 members with a three member crew consisting of at least one EMT, an EMR or another EMT and a CPR Trained Driver on call ready to be dispatched at all times. All of our first responders are active members of the community! EMT, EMR and CPR classes are offered through CASNR.

We are dispatched by the Lake Region 911 Center in Devils Lake and calls come across pagers which are carried by all members. We offer a very flexible schedule and encourage all community members to reach out if you are interested in learning more about of, or joining out team!

  -  CASNR covers the cost so that all you need to do is give your time and yourself.

  -  All you need is a caring heart and the desire to help. We will provide training for all other skills needed.
